ffdshow '.avi' File NULL Pointer Dereference Denial Of Service Vulnerability

ffdshow is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability caused by a NULL-pointer dereference.

An attacker can exploit this issue to cause the application to crash, denying service to legitimate users. Due to the nature of the issue, code execution may be possible; however, it has not been confirmed.

ffdshow 1.1.3530.0 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
