Discussion
phpBMS Multiple Security Vulnerabilities
phpBMS is prone to a multiple security vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data.
An attacker may leverage these issues to obtain sensitive data, compromise the application, access or modify data, exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database, or execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, control how the site is viewed, and launch other attacks.
phpBMS 0.96 is affected; other versions may also be affected.
