Visual Synapse HTTP Server Directory Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Visual Synapse HTTP Server Directory is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input.

Exploiting this issue will allow an attacker to view arbitrary local files within the context of the webserver. Information harvested may aid in launching further attacks.

Visual Synapse HTTP Server 1.0 RC2
Visual Synapse HTTP Server 1.0 RC1
Visual Synapse HTTP Server 0.60

Other versions may also be affected.
