Trend Micro Client/Server Security Agent Unspecified Local Denial Of Service Vulnerability
Trend Micro Client/Server Security Agent is prone to an unspecified local denial-of-service vulnerability. This issue affects the NDIS 6.0 Filter driver and causes virtual machine guest instances to stop responding.
An attacker with local access to a guest operating system can exploit this issue to cause a VMware server instance to become unstable and require a reboot, effectively causing denial-of-service conditions for all guest systems.

NOTE: This issue was previously documented in BID 43456 (VMware Server Unspecified Local Denial Of Service Vulnerability); following further analysis, it was determined that the issue did not affect VMWare Server as reports first indicated. BID 43456 has been retired.
