TYPO3 powermail Unspecified Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability

The powermail extension for TYPO3 is prone to an unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.

An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may let the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Versions prior to powermail 1.5.5 are vulnerable.
