AlstraSoft E-Friends Multiple Security Vulnerabilities
E-Friends is prone to multiple security vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. These vulnerabilities include a local file-include vulnerability, an arbitrary-file-upload vulnerability, and multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities.
An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to compromise the application, access or modify data, exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database, view files, execute local scripts, or upload arbitrary code and run it in the context of the webserver process; other attacks are also possible.
AlstraSoft E-Friends 4.96 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
