Discussion

GNU Mailman 'Full name' Field Multiple Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

GNU Mailman is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.

An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may let the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

GNU Mailman versions 2.1.14 and prior are vulnerable.
