Easy File Sharing Web Server Multiple Security Vulnerabilities
The Easy File Sharing Web Server is prone to multiple security vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. These vulnerabilities include a directory-traversal vulnerability, an arbitrary-file-upload vulnerability, an authentication-bypass vulnerability, and multiple HTML-injection vulnerabilities.
Attackers can exploit these issues to upload and execute arbitrary shell code, view arbitrary local files and directories within the context of the webserver process, steal cookie-based authentication credentials, control how the site is rendered to the user, or gain unauthorized access to the affected application (which may aid in further attacks). A successful exploit may also allow attacker-supplied HTML and script code to run in the context of the affected browser.
