'glibc' Library 'locale/programs/locale.c' Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

The 'glibc' library is prone to a local privilege-escalation vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary-checks on user-supplied data.

A local attacker may exploit this to execute arbitrary code with superuser privileges. Successful exploits will result in the complete compromise of affected computers.
