Icecast Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Icecast is a freely available, open source streaming audio server. Icecast is available for the Unix, Linux, and Microsoft Windows platforms.

Icecast is prone to a number of remotely exploitable buffer overflow conditions. This may enable an attacker to execute code with the privileges of the Icecast server (vulnerable versions normally run as root) or potentially deny service to legitimate users.
