Big Brother Arbitrary File Deletion Vulnerability and Arbitrary File Upload Vulnerability

Big Brother is prone to an arbitrary-file-deletion vulnerability and an arbitrary-file-upload vulnerability because the application fails to sanitize user-supplied input.

An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to delete arbitrary files on the affected computer, and to upload and execute arbitrary files within the context of the affected application. Other attacks are also possible.

Big Brother 4.40 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

An attacker can use readily available network utilities to exploit this issue.
