Discussion
Ethereal X11 Dissector Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
The X11 dissector is prone to a buffer overflow condition. This condition occurs when the dissector processes X11 keysyms. It is possible for an attacker to construct a packet that will, when decoded by Ethereal, trigger the overflow condition.
