Apple Mac OS X IPV6 Socket Options (CVE-2010-1132) Denial of Service Vulnerability

Apple Mac OS X is prone to a local denial-of-service vulnerability.

Local attackers can exploit this issue to cause a system reset, denying service to legitimate users.

This issue affects Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.6.7 and Mac OS X Server 10.6 to 10.6.7.

NOTE: This issue was previously discussed in BID 48412 (Apple Mac OS X Prior to 10.6.8 Multiple Security Vulnerabilities) but has been given its own record to better document it.
