Discussion
IBM WebSphere MQ CDP Extension Revoked SSL Certificate Validation Security Bypass Vulnerability
IBM WebSphere MQ is prone to a security-bypass vulnerability.
Successful exploits allow attackers to perform man-in-the-middle attacks or impersonate trusted clients, which will aid in further attacks.
To exploit this issue, an attacker must be able to intercept network traffic between a legitimate client that connects to a vulnerable application and the server.
Versions prior to WebSphere MQ 6.0.2.11 and 7.0.1.5 are vulnerable.
