Mozilla Firefox/SeaMonkey CVE-2011-2993 Security Bypass Vulnerability

Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey are prone to a security-bypass vulnerability.

An attacker may be able to exploit this issue to inherit the identity of the site that signed the JAR file as well as any permissions that a user had granted the signed JAR.

NOTE: This issue was previously discussed in BID 49166 (Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey MFSA 2011-29 through -30 Multiple Vulnerabilities) but has been given its own record to better document it.
