GentleSource Multiple Products Multiple Cross Site Scripting and HTML Injection Vulnerabilities
Multiple GentleSource products are prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities and an HTML-injection vulnerability because they fail to properly sanitize user-supplied input.
An attacker may leverage the cross-site scripting issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may let the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would run in the context of the affected browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user. Other attacks are also possible.
