Multiple EMC Ionix Applications Malformed Message Remote Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Multiple EMC Ionix applications are prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability.

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. Successful exploits will result in the complete compromise of affected applications. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
