Apple Mac OS X is prone to a local security-bypass vulnerability.

A local attacker can exploit this issue to gain access to a locked computer by bypassing the password security. Successful exploits may lead to other attacks.

Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Mac OS X Server 10.6.8 are vulnerable.
