FreeType Font Document Multiple Memory Corruption Vulnerabilities

Free Type is prone to multiple memory corruption vulnerabilities.

Successfully exploiting these issues will allow attackers to execute arbitrary code. Failed exploit attempts may cause denial-of-service conditions.

NOTE: This issue was previously discussed in BID 50086 (Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod touch Prior to iOS 5 Multiple Vulnerabilities) but has been given its own record to better document it.
