Blackberry WebKit Browser Engine Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Blackberry WebKit Browser engine is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability.
An attacker can exploit this issue by tricking an unsuspecting victim into viewing a webpage containing malicious content. Successfully exploiting this issue may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in context of the affected application.
Smartphones running BlackBerry 6, BlackBerry 7, and BlackBerry 7.1 and all versions of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet software are vulnerable.
The following applications of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet are vulnerable:
BlackBerry PlayBook browser
Bridge Browser
Android Runtime
Messages app (BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 only)
BlackBerry Bridge email app
Blackberry WebKit Browser engine is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability.
