Microsoft Office Memory Corruption CVE-2012-2524 Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Microsoft Office is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability due to a memory-corruption error.

Attackers can exploit this issue by enticing an unsuspecting user to open a specially crafted Computer Graphics Metafile (CGM) graphics file.

Successful exploits may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user running the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in a denial-of-service condition.
