Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod touch Prior to iOS 6 CVE-2012-3732 'From' Address Spoofing Vulnerability

Apple iOS for the iPhone, the iPod touch, and the iPad is prone to a spoofing vulnerability that affects the 'Mail' component.

Successfully exploiting this issue will allow attackers to spoof the 'From' address of a S/MIME signed message.

Note: This issue was previously discussed in BID 55612 (Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod touch Prior to iOS 6 Multiple Vulnerabilities) but has been given its own record to better document it.
