Discussion
Google Web Toolkit CVE-2012-5920 Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability
The Google Web Toolkit is prone to an unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Google Web Toolkit 2.4 Beta is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
Note: This issue is the result of an incomplete fix for the issue described in BID 56336 (Google Web Toolkit Unspecified Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability).
