Wireshark Dissectors Multiple Denial of Service Vulnerabilities

Wireshark is prone to multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities that affect several dissectors including Bluetooth HCI, CSN.1, DCP-ETSI DOCSIS CM-STAUS, IEEE 802.3 Slow Protocols, MPLS, R3, RTPS, SDP, and SIP.

An attacker can exploit these issues to cause the application to consume excessive CPU resources resulting in denial-of-service conditions.

The following products are affected:

Wireshark 1.6.0 through versions 1.6.12
Wireshark 1.8.0 through versions 1.8.4
