Discussion
NetGear DGN1000B Wireless Router Multiple Security Vulnerabilities
The NetGear DGN1000B wireless router is prone to multiple security vulnerabilities, including:
1. A command-injection vulnerability
2. An information-disclosure vulnerability
3. Multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities
An attacker may leverage these issues to obtain potentially sensitive information or execute arbitrary commands or script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
NetGear DGN1000B wireless routers running firmware versions 1.1.00.24 and 1.1.00.45 are vulnerable.
