Multiple EMC Control Station Products CVE-2013-3270 Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

Multiple EMC Control Station products are prone to a local privilege-escalation vulnerability because of an insecure file permission error.

A local attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.

The following are affected:

EMC VNX Control Station versions prior to 7.1.70.2
EMC Celerra Control Station versions prior to 6.0.70.1
