Discussion

X.Org libX11 CVE-2013-1981 Multiple Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities

The 'libX11' library is prone to multiple remote code-execution vulnerabilities because it fails to adequately bounds-check user-supplied data.

An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges. Failed exploit attempts will likely cause denial-of-service conditions.

Versions prior to libX11 1.5.99.902 are vulnerable.
