Discussion

Mesa libGLX CVE-2013-1993 Multiple Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities

The 'libGLX' library of Mesa is prone to multiple remote code-execution vulnerabilities because it fails to adequately bounds-check user-supplied data.

An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application using the affected library. Failed exploit attempts will likely cause denial-of-service conditions.

Mesa versions 9.1.1 and prior are vulnerable.
