IrcII "Epic" Denial of Service Vulnerability

There is a vulnerability in IrcII Epic, which ships with Debian Linux, in versions of epic between pre1.034 (including) and version pre2.004-19990718 (excluding). Epic is vulnerable to a denial of service attack that can result in the client crashing and possibly displaying arbitrary text to the screen.
