Discussion

Kingsoft Spreadsheets CVE-2013-0723 Multiple Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

Kingsoft Spreadsheets is prone to multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities because it fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied input before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer.

Successful exploits allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the vulnerable application. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in denial-of-service conditions.

Kingsoft Spreadsheets 8.1.0.3030 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
