My quiz and poll extension for TYPO3 is prone to an unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.
Note: This issue was previously covered in BID 58057 (TYPO3 My quiz and poll Extension Unspecified Cross-Site Scripting and SQL-Injection Vulnerabilities), but has been moved to its own record for better documentation.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may let the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
