Discussion

FFmpeg and Libav Multiple Denial of Service Vulnerabilities

FFmpeg and Libav are prone to multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities.

An attacker can exploit these issues to cause the application using the affected library to crash, denying service to legitimate users. Due to the nature of some of these issues, arbitrary code-execution may be possible; however this has not been confirmed.
