Cisco Video Surveillance 5000 Series IP Dome Cameras Multiple Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Cisco Video Surveillance 5000 Series HD IP Dome cameras are prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize certain unspecified user-supplied input.
An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This can allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
These issues are being tracked by Cisco Bug ID's CSCud10943 and CSCud10950.
