Discussion
ImpressCMS Arbitrary File Access And Multiple Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
ImpressCMS is prone to an arbitrary file-access and multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.
An attacker may leverage these issues to delete arbitrary files, execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
ImpressCMS 1.3.5 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
