Discussion

FFmpeg Multiple Security Vulnerabilities

FFmpeg is prone to multiple remote security vulnerabilities.

An attacker can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in denial-of-service conditions.

NOTE: Issues related to out-of-bound error have been moved to BID 66060 (FFmpeg and Libav 'msrle_decode_frame()' Function Out of Bounds Denial of Service Vulnerability) to better document them.
