Discussion
Linksys WRT120N 'fprintf()' Function Remote Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Linksys WRT120N is prone to a remote stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to adequately bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it into a fixed sized buffer .
Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected device. Failed exploit attempts will result in denial-of-service conditions.
Linksys WRT120N running firmware 1.0.07 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
