Discussion

Ektron CMS User Enumeration Weakness and Open Redirection Vulnerability

Ektron CMS is prone to a user-enumeration weakness and an open- redirection vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.

An attacker can exploit these issues to redirect a user to a potentially malicious site or harvest valid usernames; this may aid in further attacks.

Versions prior to Ektron CMS 9.00 SP2 are vulnerable.
