Check_MK is prone to an arbitrary file-disclosure vulnerability because it fails to adequately validate user-supplied input.

Exploiting this vulnerability could allow an attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from local files on computers running the vulnerable application. This may aid in further attacks.

Check_MK 1.2.5i2p1 and prior are vulnerable.

Attackers may be able to perform symbolic-link attacks to read arbitrary files in the context of the affected application. Other attacks may also be possible.
