Discussion

WebTitan 4.01 Multiple Security Vulnerabilities

WebTitan is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability and multiple command-injection vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input.

An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities to to execute arbitrary commands, compromise the application, access or modify data, exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database, use a specially crafted request with directory-traversal sequences ('../') to download arbitrary files and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the application.

WebTitan 4.01 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
