Hypermail CGI Mail Open Relay Vulnerability

It has been reported that Hypermail's CGI-based mail program is prone to a condition that may allow attackers to abuse the service as an open mail relay. This may permit malicious remote users to send mass mailings or forged email through the vulnerable software.
