Discussion

Novell Netware FTPServ Null Value Denial Of Service Vulnerability

It has been reported that the Novell FTPServ software does not handle some types of input. Due to the FTP protocol implementations used by some FTP clients, when specific functions were attempted by FTP clients, the FTPServ process would crash. This could be exploited by an attacker to prevent legitimate users from accessing the FTP server.
