Discussion

MantisBT Incomplete Fix Multiple SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

MantisBT is prone to multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input before using it in an SQL query.

Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database.

Note: This issue exists due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2014-1609 (identified in BID 65461 - MantisBT CVE-2014-1609 Multiple Unspecified SQL Injection Vulnerabilities).
