ClamAV 'libclamav/pe.c' Heap Based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

ClamAV is prone to a heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to perform adequate boundary checks when scanning a specially crafted Portable Executable file.

Successfully exploiting this issue will allow attackers to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
