Successfully exploiting this issue may cause the application to crash, resulting in denial-of-service conditions. Given the nature of this issue, attackers may also be able to execute arbitrary code, but this has not been confirmed.

LibreOffice 3.5.4 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
