Schneider Electric VAMPSET CVE-2014-8390 Local Stack and Heap Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities
Schneider Electric VAMPSET is prone to a local stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability and a local heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to properly validate user-supplied input before copying it into a fixed-length buffer.
Attackers can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
VAMPSET 2.2.145 is vulnerable.
