Microsoft Windows 2000 Port Name Buffers Potential Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

The Microsoft Windows 2000 API 'Port Name' buffer has been reported prone to a potential buffer overflow vulnerability. It has been conjectured that this issue presents itself due to the use of hard coded buffer sizes.

This vulnerability was originally reported in BID 8045 and is now being assigned a separate individual BID.
