GnuPG Group Root File Corruption Vulnerability

gnupg is reported to be prone to an issue that could permit a malicious local user to corrupt files owned by the root group. This may potentially be exploited to corrupt critical or sensitive files for a denial of service. The possibility of privilege escalation also exists.

This issue was reported on Gentoo Linux. It is unknown if other distributions are prone to the same issue.
