Sun One/IPlanet Administration Server Directory Traversal Vulnerability

A problem in the checking of input by the Sun ONE Administration Server may lead to remote users escaping into restricted directories. This may allow an attacker to gain access to information that is sensitive in nature.

Solution / Fix

Sun One/IPlanet Administration Server Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Solution:
It has been reported that this issue is resolved in Sun ONE Directory Server 5.2, and iPlanet Directory Server 5.1 SP2 Hotfix 2. This has not been confirmed by Symantec.
