PrimeBase SQL Database Server Insecure Installation Temporary File Creation Vulnerability

PrimeBase SQL Database Server is reported to create temporary files in an insecure manner during installation. A malicious local user could take advantage of this issue to cause files to be corrupted during the initial database installation. This could result in destruction of data. A potential for privilege escalation attacks also exists.

This issue was reported for PrimeBase running on Unix/Linux variants.
