MediaWiki 'IP' Parameter Remote File Include Vulnerability

A new version of MediaWiki has been released, addressing a vulnerability that may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The problem occurs due to insufficient input validation carried out on user-supplied URI parameters. As a result, an attacker may be capable of causing a malicious PHP header file to be interpreted by a target system. Depending on the payload, this could potentially allow an attacker to gain unauthorized remote access to a vulnerable system.
